GNSG Food Drive

22 April 2011, 23:01. Posted by Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara

The local Sikh youth have for the last few years, taken part in various food drives, feeding and clothing those that are less fortunate. It is our duty as a Sikh to follow Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings and share with others.

Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara currently undertakes a program every second Sunday, serving meals to the hungry in Surrey at the Fraser Health, Front Room facility on 135th Street and 106 Avenue and twice a month serving meals to the downtown eastside.

These programs are undertaken in-conjunction with Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen, who have been serving those in need for many years now. More information is available through www.gnfk.org or you can call or email us and volunteer for one of our food drive programs.
