This community forum will be held to facilitate dialogue on Canadian immigration issues including family reunification wait times, marriage fraud, foreign degree accreditation and refugee system reform.

This event takes place at the Seniors Center at Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara on Sunday November 20th from 1.30pm to 4pm.

Immigration has been the focus of considerable attention in the community after recent stories on alleged cases of marriage fraud as well as announcements by the federal government on steps being taken to improve family reunification wait times. This townhall meeting will be forum for community members to comment on important immigration issues as well as to hear from immigration experts.  Invitations have also been extended to all three Canadian federal parties to send representatives.

The Gurdwara Sahib invites all of the community to attend and provide valuable insight on this important topic.
